We have quite a bit to be thankful for here at Lost Creek.
We have our new home, nearly settled after a lot of time spent moving. Shop is back in work, bags and leather goods are being made once again. Christmas orders are coming in.
We have our family, who we love. Since we have moved here Tilly’s family have visited many times, ready to explore our great backwoods, the grandboys, Michael and Andrew, are running wild in the prairie.
We are greatly anticipating a visit from J.T.s wonderful twin grandkids, Drew and Bree. We can picture them playing in the fields!
Our fantastic black lab, Parker, is another thankful member of our family, he runs as wild as the boys, reveling in the fresh air and great smells.
We have health, happiness, enough money to live, enough love to make any rough patches smooth.
We are thankful.
Change is difficult, stressful, exhausting, exhilarating, affirming.
Here at Lost Creek we have spent the winter in change, and we feel like, just maybe we are at the crossroads.
Selling the property we live in, (not sold yet) and recently purchased a new place, farther down the road.
So now moving!!! We have moved (count them FIVE) trailer loads, and really, cannot see much of a difference!
But change is lovely!!!!
Whoosh! Here at Lost Creek we are not only preparing for summer events, we are also packing up, oh, about 200 years of existence preparing to put this property on the market! JT states that he is finding the process of divesting property a freeing experience. Tilly says Hurray, because she divested long ago!!
Auction scheduled for April 22, beginning at 11:30 am in Dassel MN in partnership with our long standing old west buddy, John Cody, (who is also involved in a freeing liberation!) Many more details to follow….Now, back to packing!
